Meet Our Pastor

I am the blessed husband of Amy and the proud father of four amazing (mostly-grown) kids.  Good times for me are dinner/movie nights with my wife and hanging out with family and friends. When my busy bi-vocational schedule allows it, I love playing volleyball, fishing and reading.

Theologically my beliefs are derived from the literal, historical, and grammatical interpretation of the Bible which means I preach and teach in an expository manner, not looking to "tickle ears" but to bless all hearers with God's truth as it was originally written by the Holy Spirit through select men of God.  With that in mind, my definition of a healthy church is not necessarily one that has all the pews filled every Sunday, but one that has true, spiritually-growing followers of Jesus Christ.  And the evidence of that is found in their continual and faithful obedience to Jesus and His Word.

My ultimate ministry goal is that everyone would come to know the love of God in Christ Jesus through His Gospel, namely that unbelievers would turn from their sins, trust in Him as their Lord and Savior, be forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9
